Kapolei, HI - I thought it was a bit pricey, but once I started using it I saw it's worth. I am a smaller female with a large dog (85 lb Cane Corso). We run frequently & usually the first quarter to a half a mile my dog pulls because she is so happy to be out on another run, but this tires me out & makes it difficult to run for the remaining miles. From the first time I used the hands free leash she didn't pull at all! I feel better because I can focus on the run instead of controlling her. My cardio has definitely benefited from it.
Like I said, I am a smaller female (size one or three clothing), but I found that the human end of the leash fit snugly and was surprisingly comfortable. The leash length is perfect; it allows her to stay out of my way, but stay close enough that she won't be able to go into the road.
I love the design of the ENTIRE product. It never felt like it was going to come loose. The quick release snap is such a great idea. I was a little worried that I might hit it & my dog would run free, but after handling it I am confident that it would only release if I intentionally do it. I have never used the water bottle, but I imagine that as our runs get longer, it will come in handy. Even the carabiner-type clip that keeps the leash handle connected to the quick release snap is a great! It makes it so easy for me to detach my dog from the waistband & connect her to a post or my car. The leash itself is great quality and is a normal heavy duty leash. When we aren't running, I usually use that leash without the waistband) instead of the leashes I already have to take her for walks.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LEASH!
